Capitec Bank is seeking a Systems Analyst to bridge the gap between business and technology, specifically within the insurance business unit. The role focuses on analyzing insurance data, gathering and validating business and technical requirements, and collaborating with the data engineering team to ensure accurate data pipelines and reporting solutions. The Systems Analyst ensures data quality, compliance, and alignment with business needs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance data, systems, and processes to extract and interpret requirements
• Gather, document, and validate functional and technical requirements from the insurance team
• Provide structured input to data engineers for developing accurate data pipelines and reporting solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders across insurance, data, product, and compliance functions
• Support end-to-end solution delivery, ensuring governance, data quality, and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a Systems Analyst
• Prior experience in the insurance industry (essential)
• Ability to independently write and interpret SQL queries
• Strong understanding of systems analysis methodologies and business process modeling
